Belltech 5982 Leaf Spring for Chevy Silverado 1500 - Heavy Duty Suspension Upgrade Kit | Perfect for Off-Roading, Towing & Load Carrying

Researched various drop kits and went with the Belltech 2/3 drop. Since I sometimes pull a trailer, I wanted the truck to have a slight rake from rear to front. The truck rides a little stiff at rear, but it may be the new performance gas shocks I installed. The fact that the leaf springs are new could also be contributing to the slight stiffer ride at rear only; The beds of these Fords are so lite-weight, any bump is felt.The installation went smoothly and would have saved about an hour had Ford installed the rear front bolts to the leaf springs from the outside. We had to loosen the fuel tank and exhaust components enough to squeeze out the bolts. When we installed these new Belltech leaf springs, we inserted the bolt from outside (as it should for easy removal/install. Overall, the truck maintained factory ride and did not effect the alignment.
