I am so shocked people have not talked about this amazing stroller I am so in love with! I was set on the Baby Jogger Citi Mini but came across Magic Beans on you tube and they explained the differences between these 2 strollers all the great functionalities I was sold on the Thule Spring. Pro’s: The quality, lightweight, easy to fold and store, baby is comfortable. If you are looking for a stroller that can handle outdoor walks/terrain but still want to take shopping or travel this is it! You won’t be disappointed.Easy to fold and all-terrain. Nice stroller. Needs to be checked for flight though. The baby loves it.I like basket easy to accessFold is easyBut !My toddler 2,10 months he is tall 40 inch and stroller has same backseat height as other stroller which is until 48 pounds , If stroller limit weight is 64 better to make long back seatAnd bcs I have other stroller and I need to replace for tall toddler I know how Easy to push stroller with one hand , this stroller was more difficult to push even we were at home and I needed 2 hands to push , I don’t like it I felt I am tired already, my toddler is 40 pounds I want easy to push strollerBut again model is good , except not for usAfter months of research, I decided to pull the trigger on the new Thule Spring Stroller despite not having many reviews. Hopefully my review helps others trying to decide as well.I needed a stroller in between light-weight and all terrain for my 2 year old. I wanted something compact but sturdier than most umbrella/ light weight strollers with the maneuverability of a 3 wheel stroller. I’ve compiled a list of pros/cons in comparison to other strollers that I have used (single Bob, Chicco Activ3, City Mini Gt, summer infant 3D light). It arrived packaged really well—double boxed and all parts were protected in foam and it arrived in perfect condition after being shipped all the way to Japan. My toddler is 30lbs and 35 inches tall.Pros: much more compact than Bob, City Mini and Chicco, smooth ride comparable to Bob and City Mini, great maneuverability, large and easily accessible under carriage basket, quality materials, large and extendable sunshade, light and easy fold, price point (purchased for $243) and I can clip my diaper bag on the handle while the seat is empty without it tipping over.Cons: I cannot maneuver it with one hand, the seat is not very deep and my toddler doesn’t sit as comfortably as other strollers. I have trouble going over 2-3 inch curbs and get stuck quite often but I would say the 5 point harness is my least favorite feature. Each of the 4 clips have to be clipped in individually and in a certain order (sides slid in place first and then the shoulder straps clipped) which is extremely challenging with a bucking toddler that doesn’t want to be strapped in.Overall, I am partial to my Bob Single Stroller but it’s way too large for what I need right now. The Thule Spring stroller will be perfect for crowded, tight spaces and narrow doorways and will fit I the back of my small car.I loved this stroller and had great plans for us. However, someone stole it out of my car three weeks after I bought it and our time was cut short. I will do my best to describe what I liked and didn’t like even though I didn’t have it for long:PROS- Super compact! Could fit easily in my car with lots of stuff- Lightweight! Easy to put in the car and carry around while folded- Easy to maneuver with one hand- Smooth as butter to push- Huge shade that is great for sunny days- Reclines way far back and is great for naps- Large storage area that is easy to get stuff in and out ofCONS- A bit wide when trying to go through small spaces, the wheels catch on stuff- No cup holder, must purchase separately for $25!- Black seat and straps show every crumb and smear of foodAll in all, I highly recommend! Also, lock your car!The only downside to this stroller is that it is not really lightweight. You can lift it with one hand but it is heavier than a lot of them. Other than that it is amazing. This stroller folds to a nice size, is fairly easy to open and maneuvers with ease. Highly recommendGreat stroller to always have ready in the car! Folds small and compact, easy to maneuver and handlebar adjusts to fit both me (5’2”) and my husband (6’2”). I have UPPAbaby V2 and BOB all terrain strollers but this one is probably mt favorite for day to day with babyWe are "upgrading" from a Graco stroller that started to break down piece by piece. This design is simple, mounted in minutes. Everything about how it's built makes sense: the extensible cover, the break pedal that works with natural foot position and movement, and folds super easily, secure and comfortable for our little guy.We haven't quite figured out how to make sure it stays securely locked once folded, it sometimes reopens when we lift it to put in the car. Also, at this price point, it would be good to have at least some kind of organization or cup holder for the parents without spending more $ out of the gate.Lastly, be mindful if you are buying this in Canada, it was indicated that the item was brand new, but it was clearly refurbished. We didn't want to go through the process of returning and getting a new one, but were definitely disapointed to pay full price for a new item and get a refurbished. Not saying this is always the case, but you never know...EDIT: I went from a 2-star rating to a 4-star, because the Thule customer service was super responsive, agreed the colour was off, and are sending me the canopy part of the stroller in a different colour.Purchased the olive Thule Spring which looks lovely in all their staged photos, but was very disappointed to receive a sandy-beige/pea soup/vomit-coloured stroller instead. I wouldn't normally be so petty, but with tax, this stroller comes to over 500$ so I expect it to deliver on all promises, colour included. After watching online videos showcasing Thule spring as the best stroller , we bought it. Have used it for one year now. The only thing good about it is the folding mechanism and it's small size to pack away. But that's not the point of stroller. It should be designed to give kid comfort , not only give parents ease of folding. The stroller fails in giving comfortable seating position to baby (less than 18 month) , seat buckles too big for baby (under 18 months) the seat is sooo wide baby keeps moving and can't feel snug, the seat has no cushioning it's like laying your baby on parachute material , there is no foot rest ( the one they advertised seems to be for 4 year old) , seat doesn't go purely flat for sleeping position , there is no bar handle that kid can hold onto , no snack tray or cup holder at this price point. You can confirm all these points by looking at product video. Our baby is less than 18 month. Maybe for older kids this stroller maybe fineI wish I loved this stroller like I did 6 months ago, but it's incredibly squeaky at the wheels even with oil it's still so loud. I love it's sleekness and ability to fold. I don't know why I was expecting it to be lighter though, you will need both hands to put away. I went with a grey canopy so if it fades it will still look good. I wish for the price point it would come with a cup holder for me (added a universal caddy), a bumper bar and snack tray. My son prefers a more upright seat but the bumper bar fixes that. Again, wish that wasn't an additional price. The under storage is great, love the little pouch behind his seat too. The locking front wheel is a nice feature. It's overall a good stroller but not sure I would have purchased it had I known it would be so squeaky and have so many necessary add-ons.For a mountain brand I expected more. Very disappointed in this stroller, it's extremely shaky and my son feels every little bump on the sidewalk. The look is nice but the wheels are plastic and cheaply made, I question if they are going to fall off simply from going across grass or gravel. Thankfully Amazon has excellent customer service and accepted a return after the stroller had been used. I bought a BOB instead.
