This product works well. Love the ride on my '99 town car.Would be 5 star if proper hardware was included. The nuts for the lower stud of the shocks were not correct. The included nuts were 1/2 in coarse thread. I had to go to my local Menards and purchase the correct nuts. For consumer and seller information, the correct nut is 12mm x 1.25 I bought ones with the nylon insert. It may be an isolated incident, but, in my experience, if there is one kit with wrong parts there are likely others out there. The person picking parts for the kit may have grabbed the wrong part, or the warehouse that built the kit may have been sent the wrong nuts to begin with.I would advise you to look at the threads on the stud for the bottom of the shocks, mine were fine threads....then look at the threads on the nuts. If you can't tell by looking, try putting the nut on...then push and pull on the nut quickly... If there's any play at all, you have the wrong nut. You'll have to make a trip to the hardware store. Some tips...for a town car, you'll need a 12" long metal cutting blade for your sawsall and just cut the top stud of the old shocks. Carefull of the fuel lines on the passenger side.It helps to tape the metal washer and rubber grommet together for the top of the new shocks to keep the washer from falling off while installing. You can put the nut for the top of the shock in a long zip tie to reach the stud for the top of the shock, or, I had a very long pair of tweezers that worked well. I suppose a magnet on a stick would work. You need a long 9/16 wrench once you get the nut started.I used the body of the shock to turn and tighten it down.I tell you these things because there is very little room to get your hands in there. All that being said, the product seems to be of good quality and the ride...just a bit stiffer, there may be a break in period...but I like the ride better than the air bags.Hope all this helps someone out there.
